I spent most of today creating the intro and tutorial for Catroidvania: Communist Space Cats of Venus, and man, it was fun. I wasn’t going to post this screenshot (I want to keep some secrets, and stuff is always likely to change), but I just can’t help wanting to share a little.
As you can see, the game is profoundly silly and has a definite B-movie element. It’s quite different from all of my previous games, and I’m enjoying it very much.
